Hidden Rainbow is a true story from the early 1900s about the Olesh family and their encounter with the New Testament. John and Anna lived in a solidly Catholic village in Yougoslavia. John was severely censured for leaving his family and seeking economic opportunity in America.
Upon his return, the family was visited by an evanghelical missionary, for which they were also rebuked. Though forbidden to communicate with the man of God, they could not forget his radiant personality and his message. While John was away, Anna fearfully accepted a "forbidden" New testament and discovered something wonderful.
John and Anna were torn. On the one hand they felt a deep loyalty for tradition. On the other, they had a great longing to experience the hope and peace offered in the Book. Which would they choose?
For youth and adults seeking peace with God, or those interested in helping others find peace, this book will have special appeal.
